“Inspired by the texture and lightness of traditional handwoven banig mats, the Greenbelt Shack features natural materials such as rattan and timber as well as herringbone green tiling affording a rhythmical pattern to the space. Pendant lamps are handcrafted and handwoven out of Arurog vine by Hacienda Crafts, a group of weavers (mostly women!) in Negros Island with a mission to provide sustainable livelihood to the Negrenses and preserve heritage crafts by utilizing local materials.”
